Hi Janeites! ♥

A few days after coming back from my journey in England with my cousin, I am going to try telling you the most I can about this wondeful experience and convey the strong emotions I felt seeing for the first time things I have loved for a long time!♥

After waking up around 3 a.m., we headed to the airport, accompanied by my aunt and uncle. After a two-hour flight, whom I went trough only thanks to the incredible desire to arrive in my loved London (and mostly to my cousin :)), because after a long time had passed since my last flight the anxiety showed up, we arrived at Stansted airport! First emotion! I had set foot on British ground!♥

The journey by bus towards Victoria Station began there! This travel has been quite long (about 1h45m), but it let us see lots of areas of London suburbs through the window! If you’re looking for a fastest solution, I recommend asking information about the trip by train; your preference will dipend on your area of destination.

Arrived at Victoria Station, we got informations about transports. We opted for the Oyster Card, paying about 36 pounds for a week of validity, compared to the 9 pounds per day (as a matter of practicality, staying in the city for 4 days). With this card, you’ll be able to use underground, buses and trains within the areas of London! For more information:

We were in London, we had made the card, there was nothing left to do except heading towards the hotel! We chose the area of Earls Court, well connected through the tube to all the rest of the city (three of the main lines stop there).

Once we had made the check-in and had released the luggage, we immediately headed towards Piccadilly! It is one of the liveliest areas, full of restaurants, theaters, pubs, and lots of other attractions! It has been one of the places I have loved the most, so full of people coming from all over the world!♥

L’ora di pranzo era ormai giunta, così abbiamo iniziato a guardarci intorno alla ricerca del posto perfetto per fermarci! La nostra scelta è ricaduta su un locale delizioso in Leicester Square! Perfetto per Tea Lovers come noi! Abbiamo scelto un tavolo all’esterno del locale per goderci al meglio l’atmosfera londinese! Dopo un po’ di tempo è arrivata una forte pioggia e ci siamo spostate all’interno, carinissimo! Il tempo ballerino inglese ci ha fatto provare due esperienze in una! 😉 La cosa che più ci ha colpito sono stati due tavoli le cui sedie erano legate al soffitto con una corda e slegate dal pavimento; non ho purtroppo foto ma vi assicuro che si tratta di due angolini incantevoli! E poi un locale che ha questo su una parete non può che piacerci, mi sbaglio? 😉

Lunch time had already come, so we began to look around looking for the perfect place to stop! Our choice fell on a delightful place in Leicester Square! Perfect for Tea Lovers like us! We chose a table outside the restaurant to enjoy London’s atmosphere! After a while, rain arrived and we moved inside the place, very pretty! The changeable weather of London made us try two experiences in one! 😉 The thing that attracted my attention the most was the presence of two tables whose chairs were bounded to the ceiling with a rope and loose from the floor; unfortunately I don’t have any photos, but I assure you they were two lovely corners! In addition to this, a place which has got this on a wall can’t do anything else but being loved by us, am I wrong? 😉

Ristorate dal buon pranzo, partiamo alla volta della fermata successiva! Covent Garden! Davvero vivace, ricco di belle strutture architettoniche e negozi!

Refreshed by the good lunch, we headed towards the following stop! Covent Garden! It is really lively, full of beautiful architectural structures and shops!
